A Framework for Change
In 2020, CarefulAI was comissioned by the UK NHS to move the centre of power for AI design from suppliers to users.
This resulted in the Framework for Change below.
The framework has been impactful. By 2022 its principles were adopted into Responsible AI practice by market primes and governments.
Along with PRIDAR, the framework was a progenator of principles adopted in BS 30440, ISO 42001, good machine learning practice, and funding of AI developments e.g AI Lab usage, adoption and spread of AI enabled clinical pathways.
