CarefulAI was formed in 2019. The organisation was inspired by the Chartist movement which was one of the motive forces behind Democracy.
Taking this approach Humans shall have the right to:
1. Validate the AI that affects them e.g. SISDA Validation
2. Influence the AI that affects them e.g. Model Feedback
3. The privacy of their views respected e.g. DAR Design Framework
4. Be involved in how suppliers & buyers choose AI investments using e.g. PRIDAR Framework
In 2022 PRIDAR was embodied in BSI30440 (the UK Standard for the Validation of AI in healthcare).
In 2023 CarefulAI is working to speed up the provision of AI validation frameworks that enable safe and reliable AI in regulatory led markets.
